I should probably feel bad, but I don't have any sympathy for Stephen Baldwin or other actors who have claimed bankruptcy. They lived life to the fullest, and now they have to pay the price---just like the rest of us. There are millions of real people in the same situation.

I rarely have sympathy for people who go into bankruptcy or owe tons of money. THe majority of the time, though not in every case, people lose money because they make bad, immature, rash, unthoughtout, impulsive decisions. Celebrities let the money go to their heads, they trust financial advisors and do not take accountability for thier own money. That;s just stupid. What makes it even worse is that I believe Stephen Baldwin is a Christia, he has been on the church channel quite a few times, and as such, he really should have been a better steward of the money God blessed him with. That being said, we all go through trying times and I hope he can come out of this having learned something

I have sympathy for anyone who is undergoing difficult times, whether they be emotional financial, or whatever. All humans make mistakes, and it does not matter whether they are rich or poor. Sometimes, wealthy people do not have the right financial advisors. This is what happened to Nicholas Cage. I hope Stephen Baldwin, Nicholas Cage, and all others with money problems get their lives straightened out.

Not really.

Rich people can make bad financial decisions just like poor people. However, a rich person has more of an opportunity to do the RIGHT things with their money... opportunities that the poor do not have. A poor person who is living paycheck-to-paycheck is probably buying only essentials. (yes, I know there will be some arguments there). However, a rich person who is living paycheck-to-paycheck is clearly spending money on things that are not essentials. And if they are NOT living paycheck-to-paycheck, then they have no excuse for not having money saved and for not having properly diversified investments.

Make a donation? That's crazy, in my opinion.

Answer 6/10 - Submitted 4/24/2010

Not at all. Would he come to my rescue if I was in bankruptcy? He's led a privaleged life and will earn millions of dollars over the next few years so he shouldn't even be allowed to file for bankruptcy - he should pay his debts like everyon else has to in society.

Answer 7/10 - Submitted 4/24/2010

For most celebs, bankruptcy is a blip on their radar. I don't think most 'regular' people enter into a bankruptcy lightly or before trying other other ways to deal with their debt.

I have sympathy for him or anyone in that situation but no donation

Thanks for answering.

Thank you!

Answer 10/10 - Submitted 6/29/2011

Did they donate when they were rich and on the top position? Did they helped poor and needful people? If YES then they deserve to get donations, if NO then they don't deserve. As simple as anything.
