Re divorce and attorney I live in michigan. We have been married just 7 years. We own a house that we just put on the market yesterday. We have about 40,000 in credit card debt that for the most part was used to try to save the marriage. My wife has a job with a salary of 41,000 plus bonuses. She also has total use of a car and free gas. Myself i now am a self-employed insurance salesman. My income since i just started iis only about 400.00 a month. It will take me a couple of years to build up this business. In the mean time its going to be a strugle. I,m pretty sure i,ll file personal bankruptcy to ease this. |

I know student loans are rarely discharched in bankruptcy unless it would cause undo hardship to repay or if the loan went into default 7 years prior to filing for bankruptcy, both of which apply to me.
