My sons father wants child support after never paying any I raised my son alone for 11 years and now he went to live with his father ands he is going after me for child support,he never gave us a dime and I even had to file bankrupsy due to my sons medical bills,I had filed with child support enforcement years ago and never received any support,what should I expect to happen? |

Hopefull you have the original support order or copies with you or anything to prove you were awarded support. Since support and health insurance go and in hand, the judge may award you support and possibly money to cover the health care issues the ex was to have provided for you. I doubt if he'll get a dime from you due to his owing back support. You should get an attorney, either from legal aid or from a pro ono attorney in your city.

I dont have a court order I filed many years ago and nothing came of it because I no longer was aware of where he was and I was quite busy taking care of my son after his brain surgery so I gave up trying to go after him .should i go to child support enforcement to see if there is any record of me filing
