How do you get alimony if he lies about income, and how does court enforce. I am currently divorcing husband of nine years this August. We cohabitated three years prior as well. We were fifty/fifty owners of our business, which has gone bankrupt do to his embezzlement from me as well as our customers and the inability for me to get any type of help with stopping his complete drain of all our marital assets. The marrital home is in foreclosure facing enormous tax problems, having to file personal and business bankruptcy. I filed over a year ago, we are both on second attorney, he didnt pay his and mine quit after draining my $10,000 retainer and packing on additional $7500 in fees accomplished 0 and then refused to turn over file to new attorney. I have retained second and she has drained $7500 retainer rebuilding file have not been to court yet. I have paid $1800 more to her so far and had to retain foreclosure/bankruptcy lawyer $2500. Attorneys have filed for temporary emergency support over and over as well as contempt nothing has yet to be ordered. I am seeing a psychiatrist to help deal with this mess and I have no idea when this will end. He is fighting everything. I am wondering if its worth the fight anymore, nothing left to split, obviously in contempt over and over, turned over years of bank statements to show what he has done along with all books for our company, yet I am no closer to the end then when I started. He is making sure he takes me down with him. I had no part in his theft and was robbed as well. |
