How do I get a title for a RV that Im monthly payments on but the Credit Union that financed it says the company I purchased the RV from filed bankrup The company I purchased the RV from filed bankruptcy 2 weeks after they financed it for me. Since then I havent been able to get the RV licensed or use it of course & the credit union says its because when the company filed bankruptcy my title was kept . I have made these payments & had it insured for a year with no use of the RV & the Credit Union jst informed me via telephone that even tho I was still responsible for the payment each month my RV may be sold from under me for the selling companies bankruptcy debts. How is any of this LEGAL? I am gettin no assistance in resolving this matter from the selling companys attorneys or the Federal Credit Union. HELP! |

I know student loans are rarely discharched in bankruptcy unless it would cause undo hardship to repay or if the loan went into default 7 years prior to filing for bankruptcy, both of which apply to me.
