Does florida bankruptcy show up in the newspaper? |
Answer 1/1 - Submitted 1/3/2012
Bankruptcy filings do not usually show up in a regular newspaper. However, many cities have newspaper publications for the legal community that have listings of lawsuits, foreclosures, bankruptcies and so forth.
I am in Michigan and we have a publication here called The Legal News that most law offices subscribe to and it contains these types of listings. There is probably some sort of publication similar to this in Florida. I would very much doubt, however, that it would show up in the local newspaper for your city.
